Since 1946, the Gonzales family has grown the rare and fabulous California Blenheim apricots. Grown on our Hollister ranch, we continue to be the farmer, pruner, dryer, packer, and seller of the vanishing Blenheim apricot. We produce the best tasting apricots in the world all "Home Grown in the Flavor Zone"!
In addition to our incredible dried apricots, be sure to discover our variety of nuts (walnuts, pistachios, almonds) and other dried fruits (peaches, pears, prunes, and more). For those who believe less is more, we have dark and delicious unsulfured dried apricots. And don't forget our sweet and tart selection of apricot jams and syrups as well as our decadent chocolate covered fruits and nuts. Simply delicious! Blenheim Apricot Jam (Low Sugar) 9 oz
Hollister is one of the few places that still grows the best Blenheim apricots in the world.
This jam is made from our dried apricots, and it is superb.
Apricotking's jam will spoil you from ever buying any store bought jam (which usually contains 35% sugar).
We add a little pectin and just enough sugar (less than 10%) to set the pectin.
Just like your Grandma used to make....only better!

I find most commercial jams to be too sweet so that the sugar swamps the flavor. This 'low sugar' jam was perfect, retaining some of the tartness of the fruit while also using enough sugar to mellow out and complement the natural tannic flavor of the apricots.

The flavor of this jam is fantastic! There are a couple of reasons I really love it. One is that it IS low sugar but, has that super apricot goodness. Because it is low sugar using with chicken and pork is a great option.
