Since 1946, the Gonzales family has grown the rare and fabulous California Blenheim apricots. Grown on our Hollister ranch, we continue to be the farmer, pruner, dryer, packer, and seller of the vanishing Blenheim apricot. We produce the best tasting apricots in the world all "Home Grown in the Flavor Zone"!
In addition to our incredible dried apricots, be sure to discover our variety of nuts (walnuts, pistachios, almonds) and other dried fruits (peaches, pears, prunes, and more). For those who believe less is more, we have dark and delicious unsulfured dried apricots. And don't forget our sweet and tart selection of apricot jams and syrups as well as our decadent chocolate covered fruits and nuts. Simply delicious! Everything here on the ranch is organically grown.

No fruit picked before its time!
Our best fruit comes from the Los Viboras Ranch in Hollister. All Blenheims, a little micro-climate in play, fruit grows sweeter, plumper, and more perfect than any other orchard. Turning fast and sizing up !
The cots are looking mighty fine. They are turning color very quickly. One day you thinkthe cots shouldn't be picked for a while......and the next day they've moved, plumped up, and started to turn that beautiful Blenheim color. One crew is going out tomorrow. Day 1 and I'm So Exhausted
Day One : Cuttin' Cots!Saturday was our first day of cutting fresh apricots. We cut 21 bins of fruit for a total of 12,600 pounds of Blenheims in 5 hours.This is all done by machine, but requires 40 workers to straighten and sort the fruit as it comes off the cutting machine. Green cots are falling off the trees......it's a sad sight to see....It's called the June Drop. It rained here yesterday. By Friday it will be 93 degrees. Our 2017 fresh season will be ready about June 24.We'll keep you posted.No, you can't pick your own. (Eleven foot ladders involved in picking cots)Yes, you can buy them fresh at our Hollister Ranch or at numerous Farmer's Markets after the 24th.
