Unbeatable Aps
Posted by Charles Randow on Dec 5th 2024
We had our first California apricots in 1964 when we began eight years living in Fairfield. This was a time when the sun drying process could be seen throughout the local area. Unfortunately, most of these trees have since been replaced with grape vines. Every Christmas we look forward buying some for ourselves and our children. The same wonderful taste brings back memories of this California-unique fruit.

Apricots That Taste Like Apricots!
Posted by Jackie on Jan 27th 2024
I'd written a glowing review early on, but I can't find it here any more, hence a repeat after all this time. ApricotKing apricots are the best I've ever eaten. I remember the hard dried apricots that came in a box (Sunkist) from when I was a kid, but all of a sudden, those were no longer available, and in their place are these bland, overly sweet Mediterranean apricots -- well, as much as I love the Mediterranean, their attempt at apricots was abysmal. My online search led me here, and what a lucky day that was! Your apricots have that sweet-tart taste of the actual fruit. They "zing" in your mouth -- I know no other way to describe it. They are nice and soft, to boot. I chop them up to put on cereal or in cookies, and otherwise just eat them out of the bag. Over the years we've treated ourselves to other products, but the dried apricots are a steady order. We were elated with the recent purchase of walnuts, by the way. They are absolutely perfect halves for decorating, and there is a plump freshness that supermarket walnuts just cannot match. We've never been disappointed. Additionally, Patti and the whole ApricotKing family are so lovely and accommodating. It's a pleasure to do business with such reputable folks. (Rereading this now, I can only add that what I said here needs to show even higher praise!)
