About ApricotKing
Since 1946, the Gonzales family has grown the rare and fabulous California Blenheim apricots. Grown on our Hollister ranch, we continue to be the farmer, pruner, dryer, packer, and seller of the vanishing Blenheim apricot. We produce the best tasting apricots in the world all "Home Grown in the Flavor Zone"!
In addition to our incredible dried apricots, be sure to discover our variety of nuts (walnuts, pistachios, almonds) and other dried fruits (peaches, pears, prunes, and more). For those who believe less is more, we have dark and delicious unsulfured dried apricots. And don't forget our sweet and tart selection of apricot jams and syrups as well as our decadent chocolate covered fruits and nuts. Simply delicious! Everything here on the ranch is organically grown.
Enjoy!
Unsulphured 8 lbs Blenheim Apricots
It's August 2024 and its back....Fresh off the trays!
Hoping our 2024-2025 crop will yield exceptionally rich and dark in unsulphured Blenheims.
These apricots are organically grown and dried in the sun with NO preservatives.
As they sun-dry, they become black in color....deep, dark, complex, and delicious.
They are very chewy.
The higher the sugar content, the darker they become.
The connoisseurs are going to love these.
They need to be refrigerated. They will hold in the freezer for up to one year.
Don't complain that they're too dry......they have to be dry or the moisture will cause them to mold.

Outstanding Product

My number One favorite food is dried apricots--not any dried apricots. It has to be unsulphured, Blenheim dried apricots. For many years, I was able to purchase them from Trader Joe's. For whatever reason, Trader Joe's no longer carries unsulphured, Blenheim dried apricots.
Recently I purchased 8 lbs from the ApricotKing. I am delighted with them. They are pricey but delicious! -

I love these apricots but this time they were too dry and tough.

Been an apricotking fan since forever. Always consistently wonderful. They freeze well and we always have a supply of them. Unsulphered are the best

Finest apricots available

if you love apricots, these are the best you can buy. Formerly available at Trader Joe's, they've been replaced by an inferior Turkish import. I actually use them in a savory Moroccan lamb recipe I prepare occasionally. I'm grateful I found these locally - thank heaven for Apricot King for a taste of heaven on earth!

We have been ordering these for years.

My husband & I eat almost embarrassingly large amounts of these. They cost a lot less than high-quality chocolate bars. They are high in vitamin A & iron so a healthy snack choice.
Last year we ate about 30 pounds of them - really.
They obviously taste great. -

Unsulfured Apricots!

For the environment, I decided to reduce my plastic footprint.
The bulk (8lbs) option was package in a reusable bag with no excessive waste.
You can freeze the apricots for up to a year.
They have a buttery honey taste with a 5 minutes soak in water.
They are organic and sun dried , so no chemical!
I was really satisfied with my purchase.
