About ApricotKing
Since 1946, the Gonzales family has grown the rare and fabulous California Blenheim apricots. Grown on our Hollister ranch, we continue to be the farmer, pruner, dryer, packer, and seller of the vanishing Blenheim apricot. We produce the best tasting apricots in the world all "Home Grown in the Flavor Zone"!
In addition to our incredible dried apricots, be sure to discover our variety of nuts (walnuts, pistachios, almonds) and other dried fruits (peaches, pears, prunes, and more). For those who believe less is more, we have dark and delicious unsulfured dried apricots. And don't forget our sweet and tart selection of apricot jams and syrups as well as our decadent chocolate covered fruits and nuts. Simply delicious! Everything here on the ranch is organically grown.
Enjoy!
Unsulphured 8 lbs Blenheim Apricots
It's August 2024 and its back....Fresh off the trays!
Hoping our 2024-2025 crop will yield exceptionally rich and dark in unsulphured Blenheims.
These apricots are organically grown and dried in the sun with NO preservatives.
As they sun-dry, they become black in color....deep, dark, complex, and delicious.
They are very chewy.
The higher the sugar content, the darker they become.
The connoisseurs are going to love these.
They need to be refrigerated. They will hold in the freezer for up to one year.
Don't complain that they're too dry......they have to be dry or the moisture will cause them to mold.

Unique Flavor
Posted by Laura S. on Jul 31st 2018
Such a unique flavor (not as tart as the regular ones). Can't stop eating them! In the past, I have found they do get a bit too dry and hard to chew. But I am thinking if I mix the slabs in with them, that will help keep them moist.

Yum

I grew up in CA with a huge apricot tree in my yard. We would make dried apricots every year. Then I moved out of CA and one of the things I miss the most are those organic unsulfered CA apricots!! Can’t find them in any store so I order from apricotking and they are sooo good thank you.

Nice to find the Blenheims

These have a nice balance of sweet and tangy that I really enjoy. Much better than the Turkish apricot IMO.
